Staying now in Lyle Hotel! They are very welcoming. They even allowed us to check in earlier. The rooms are gorgeous and the hotel is historical from 1905. The bathrooms are clean and huge! This hotel is very clean and tidy. Will update my review tom for breakfast.
I stayed in Lyle after exploring the Columbia Gorge and was a little disappointed with the service. The hotel has ten rooms and I reserved a queen room with a shared bathroom and breakfast. It was difficult to sleep with the trains that run in front of the hotel during the night. The breakfast included instant oatmeal, granola, yogurt, english muffins, orange juice, and keurig coffee. You will find a cozy hotel with an outdoor patio, bar, dining room, a small library, and nice views of the Columbia Gorge. The self check-in hotel sends you the code for the door on the day you arrive, but failed to send it until I called from Lyle. Located on Seventh Street, just off Hwy 14 near the Lyle Market. A nice place to stop in the Columbia Gorge with some train noise, a historic cozy vibe, and nice views of the Gorge.
This was the perfect place for a group rental. We rented all 10 rooms so we had the Hotel all to ourselves. The place is gorgeous and special. Renovated rooms are well equipped and comfortable. So many great spaces for family to visit. The manager was responsive and easy to work with. The only downside to our visit was I wish we had stayed longer!
